Notice Anything?

Hey everybody!

Have a happy new year! Z had a much better day today; I feel like my head is stuffed solid with snot and am mildly miserable. BUT! Z has slept as normal, and she is now down for the night, and the Mr. and I celebrated a bit by watching some TV. When I started this post I had a purring cat and a tiny white laptop on my lap, and I was going to have some tea, so, yay?

I am not going to post any resolutions or deep thoughts on the year past or the year approaching (even if I were capable of deep thinking, heh). And while all you wonderful friends are posting year-in-review fic lists, complete with favorite lines and synopses and snippets, I'm going to do the tired-mom-perspi version of fannish-year-in-review:

• House: Three little ficlets, totaling 1020 words. This doesn't count the paltry bits I've written for black_cigarette.


• SG:A: 26 fics and ficlets and commentsnippets (including four artword round-robin stories), totaling 30,780 words. Holy cow, that's more than I thought. Those little mcsmooches add up.

And now I'm finally posting this, and it's almost three hours after I started it--the laptop battery died, the Mr and I watched our TV, and Z has stirred and been comforted twice now. I'm finally online and all by myself. AAHHHH.
